Hi
iv been trying to find a solution to my problem on various forums, including this one, but havent been fully successful.
What im wanting to do is to be able to download tv guide data without having the internet. I do however have access at another location with the internet and an my own IceGuide subscription.
What i have tried so far is to download the iceguide using webget to download the xml file and then Bladerunner Pro 3.5 to process the xml file. It doesnt come back back with any errors but when i go back into MCE and and go to 'Get Latest Guide Listings' it says cannot connect to the internet.
Is it even possible to get guide information when you dont have an internet connection and if so how?
thanks in advance
ok, no replys
maybe my last post didnt make sence to people
What I want to be able to do it to get the guide with out having a net connection.
i have access to the net at another location plus an IceTV subscription. So i could download an xml file, chuck it on a flash drive and put it on my media centre comp (running MCE)
so i have the resources there, does anyone have any ideas?
thanx for replying
but i have tryed this method with no success
prolly have the net connection back in a couple of days
seems like it only took a couple of days for internode to enable the adsl services
