Perth guide out by 1 hour?

Since going back to non Daylight savings time here in Perth my guide has been 1 hour ahead of where it should be e.g. a show that should be at 8:30 shows as 7:30.

I have updated the guide and no change.
To get around the problem I have set my time back one hour and turned off automatic time updates.

Anyone else got this problem?

Re: Perth guide out by 1 hour?

Which guide are you using?

I'm using Free*EPG who source data from OzTivo - they had an issue with the WA guide times but they had fixed it by Sunday evening.

Have you got all the appropriate Windows updates installed - i.e. did Windows automatically change the time for you or did you have to manually change time yourself?

Re: Perth guide out by 1 hour?

im having the same issues. Ive also updated my guide and it does the same. I schedules sarah conner chronicles to record, and i ended up with a commsec update and ladettes to ladies...

Ive also changed the local pc settings for daylight savings, and all it did was change the time in the guide, but not the program showing. odd...

Any suggestions?

I got caught by the same problem ... Sarah Connor was replaced by the mammary-glands-out, Ladette to Lady. Channel NINE have made a few changes to their programming, even their new scheduled 2:00am Friends is now starting at 2:15am.

Re: Perth guide out by 1 hour?

I am having the same problems

Media center automatically changed the time on sunday to match with daylight savings

recorded ch7 last night: recorded at the right time, and for the right length, however had the wrong name

recorded ch9 last night: recorded 1 hour late, and obviously had the wrong name as well

Looks to be a guide issue.. I have tried getting new data a couple of times

Re: Perth guide out by 1 hour?

Memfis you haven't mentioned which EPG provider you're using.

The Free*EPG guide is correct in Perth and has been since Sunday night, and I'd have to assume a paid service like IceTV would also be correct.

I would think the problem is more likely your PC setup. Are you sure your PC clock is set to "W. Australia Standard Time" (GMT +8.00 Perth) and has the "Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes" box checked?

Re: Perth guide out by 1 hour?

Im using ICETV and its fine ..

If you are still having issues id suggest getting the DST patch (theres actually been a few revisions) from download.microsoft.com and re-applying it.

This should fix the issue.

Im using free*epg. its not my pc setup- thats find and has been since DST reverted. It automatically adjusted. Thats all fine, it was the guide itself. Im not 100% what the issue was but ive fixed it now.

I re-enabled the mcupdate and let it do its thing, and then reinstalled free*epg, and it was all good. Im thinking there was just an issue with the guide updating after sunday.
