how to include HD guide in Oztivo ?

Hi guys,
I've been using BRP and Oztivo for a long time and it's been faultless.

Now that there are new HD channels, I want to add these to my guide. I see that I can add the new 10HD and 7 HD guide in my preferences in oztivo and I have but it's still coming up with a duplicate of the SD channels as the guide in MCE.

I just want to know how you guys have added HD guide through BRP and Oztivo. Do I have to get rid of the HDit.exe ? and is that all I have to do ?

thanks

Re: how to include HD guide in Oztivo ?

HI joey999,

Not sure if you have this sorted yet, but Kathlik helped me.

Go to ChannelInfo file in C:\WINDOWS\ehome\BladeRunnerPro\QuickGuide.

Open it in Notepad and add the HD channels into this file, MCE will then pick them up.

En example from my file, "

<channel>
<name>7HD</name>
<channelID>SevenHD</channelID>
<virtualchannel>8</virtualchannel>
</channel>

If your still unsure, i allso found that if you just delete this file (i reccomend just moving it

just in case) that it will then be reloaded with the hd channels after you run brp. But you

will have to add all the guide listing again.

The only problem i have now is that my 7hd tv guide is 1 hr early??? Im hoping someone

can help me solve this.

Once again thank Kathlik for this info.

Cheers.

Re: how to include HD guide in Oztivo ?

On a silimar issue, I have a HD LG plasma TV (no set top box) & can pick up all the normal channels in Sydney direct on the TV. However my XP MC can only locate 6 channels. I have tried numerous times to search for new signals without any success. Can anyone advise me as to what I am doing wrong? I am using Bladerunner & Oztivo
