XPMCE EPG and Recording?

Hey,

Just a quick question about the EPG for when I get my tuner card. I love the idea how you download the EPG then select what you want to record by simply selecting the program you want. THis led me to a question, and i'll use 20 To 1 as an example... It is scheduled for Tuesday night at 19:30-20:30, so thats when it will record. My question is, can we rely on this to record the whole program, considering most programs usually start late and go overtime etc? How will the EPG know when the program has ACTUALLY finished, not when it's scheduled to be finished... Using a DVB STB at the moment, I find the EPG is has is really unreliable, and will show the following program, much before 20 To 1 has finished? Is this a major problem for users?
