No Guide - No Channels

I have had a working system for over a year but today my guide would not update and when i tried an update in MCE I got code 20 error, which refers to file validation error. Nest my channels disappeared and even though I have tried to scan I got a number that showed up but on completion of the scan they disappeared again now on evry scan I get nothing. I tried to run through the duide setup again in mCE but I keep getting a code 20 error.

i noticed in the forum error 20 has something to do with Freexmltv but I do not know what do to with information. I use OzTivo and Bladerunner pro. Oztivo seems to work Ok but I noticed when I run Bladerunner it seems to end quickly due to an error but I am unable to read it as it disappears to quickly

Any ideas

This thread can be ignored as the problem has fixed itself. I ran an another scan late last night and all my channels and guide are back. STRANGE

Re: No Guide - No Channels

I'm having the same problem, turn my PC on this morning and no channels could be found. Try to set up the guide again (using freeEPG, tried both variations), setups up OK, scans for channels, finds a few (typically Ch 7) and then loses the services as it is scanning. never seen this behaviour before. I'm in Melbourne.

I doubt it, I gave up trying to use FreeEPG with ozTivo a few days ago, it would only give a few channels, then half way through would say 'no services found' even tho there were channels there. I finally got it to work with FreeEPG 'standard' (ie the simple listings) after a few goes. I'll have another crack at going back to ozTivo on the weekend.
