Multiple copies of channel guide data

Hi

I am using BRP with the HDit option to create an extra copy of the guide data for assignment to SD & HD listings. All works fine, no problems.

My issue is that I want to create a third copy of the guide data so that I can assign to the free to air channels that I get through FOXTEL as well. I.e. I am setup with digital FTA and Foxtel channels.

Does anyone know whether creating 3 copies of guide data for the "same channel" is possible?

Re: Multiple copies of channel guide data

how did you get the HDIT option to work? i can't even find the option and i'd really like to have duplicate data as i'm using analog (foxtel) with digital with the hdtv channels on my box but i can only have guide data on one since oztivo no longer supply hd data for brisbane

any help would be appreciated.

Re: Multiple copies of channel guide data

Hi

HDiT is part of the standard setup with BladeRunnerPro 3.5. I just did a default install and get copies of all my OzTivo data for HD assignment. Sweet as.

Re: Multiple copies of channel guide data

Run BladeRunner Pro Configurator and click on the PreProcesses Section. You shoudl see two items, first is HDiT and the second is MakeChannelInfo. If you select HDiT, all I have showing is the name = HDiT and the File = HDiT\HDit.exe.

I guess the thing for you to check is the path and exe for HDiT...are you sure it is actually running?? ALso run Bladerruner from the cmd prompt and check out output on screen. It shoudl tell you whether HDit is running.

Cheers

Re: Multiple copies of channel guide data

I seem to have related issues!

I currently have DTV channels setup as well as PayTV - problem is that when I 'assign listings to channel' the guide info applies only to the last channel selected. ie. I can receive channel Nine via channel numbers 9,90 and 100. However, I haven't figured a way to have my EPG display the program information for each of these respectively - even though they are the same program.

I've heard mention within these forums of multiple copies of the guide etc. but can;t quite find the right post to implement this - any assistance appreciated!

Rgds,

Brien
