EPG - Show only channels that have a guide listing

Hi guys,

I've got a feeling that this has probably already been discussed before, and some people would tell me to use the search function, but I have absolutely no idea what to search for! So apologies in advanced.

Just got a digital tuner and it shows up with 36 odd channels. I'd really like to keep all those channels (just in case I ever need to browse to them), however I would really like it if you press the Guide button on the remote, for it to only show channels that actually have a guide listing (ie. ABC, ABC2, Seven, Nine, Ten, SBS1, SBS2).

How is this done?

Thanks in advance, and again apologies if this has already been discussed before.

Edit: Ideally I'd also like to keep the same channel numbers as they originally are. Reason is sometimes on some shows they say "for this special feature X, tune into channel 37"...

Re: EPG - Show only channels that have a guide listing

You can reassign channel numbers from within the MCE settings. I have all the channels grouped (2,3,7,9,10,ABC2) so that they will always show together when the guide button is pressed, no matter which channel you are on prior. The giude channels are then assigned to the channels. All the other channels are still there, they just list after the main ones.
