First PC Build.... Ever!

First PC Build.... Ever. And i decide on a Media Centre.

After much searching and many hours (much to the girlfriends disgust, wait till she sees the final product!) have settled on the ever popular GA-MA78GM-S2H and 4850e combo as a starting point. That is of course unless anyones got any better ideas...
Next step find a nice cheap (but not nasty) case.

Anyways just thought i'd say gday in here and say im looking forward to some more searching and maybe even asking a few questions in this great forum.

Cheers Phil.

Re: First PC Build.... Ever!

Hi Phil,

Off to a good start. Any thoughts on just how cheap a case? The NSK2480B is good value at around $120 - thinking more or less than that?

Phil,

The NSK2480B is a great case, I'm using that case with the same mobo and CPU as you have mentioned. It is a great little set up that runs HD not problems.

Cheers Phil.
I am using the Antec Fusion Remote, which i purchased for $209. The LCD screen on the front works like a treat, and the multiple chamber design and silent fans keep everything running cool
