Remote IceTv on Vista

I've just installed the trial of IceTv.

Firstly its extremely simple job, small app, easy registration and appears to work straight away after a re-tune.

Though i'm curious on wheather everyone got all of the channel listings straight away??

Only got SBS, ABCHD, ABC1 &2, TenHD. Just a few missing from the 24 channels that tuned in.

I'm hoping that once it updates overnight it will fix the problem.

And i tried a program via the remote record but failed, i'll try again tomorrow.

Anyone else had similar little problems??

Cheers

Re: Remote IceTv on Vista

Have you allocated the guide listings to your channels from within settings? The reason the guides you mentioned are showing and not the others is because the channel names are the same as those in the ice tv guide therefore are automatically allocated by media centre. If the channel name is not the same as the ice tv guide ie. Channel Ten in ice TV is Ten Brisbane as the names are not the same you need to add the listing to the channel to tell media centre it is the appropriate guide.

To do this you need to go to settings, TV, Guide and add listings. Once in there click on the station it will take you to the guide listings provided by ice tv. you then select that and therefore associate the appropriate guide listings with the channel. Just be aware each guide can only be allocated to one channel. So multiple channels like seven digital you can only apply the guide to one of the seven channels scanned by your tuner.
