IceTV Windows widget released

We've just released our IceTV Remote widget for the Yahoo! Widget Engine, giving XP and Vista users a TV guide and remote scheduling from their desktop.

Re: IceTV Windows widget released

I installed this last week. It seemed to work OK (though it was preventing the Widget Dock from closing when I shut down my PC). Could be coincedence, but this week none of my scheduled recordings are showing up on either the Widget or the ICETV Remote web service. I'm getting the guide OK, but it's not showing me what's schedules to record on my HTPC anymore.

I've sent an email to IceTV support, but as yet no answer (should I be surprised???)

Re: IceTV Windows widget released

A Vista widget would be a lot more beneficial to 99% of people on these boards.

I wish it wasn't the case, but at this point it doesn't seem like we're able to build a widget/gadget that's at the same standard as the Yahoo! widget or Dashboard widget for Vista's sidebar.

We're definitely keeping our eye on the platform though. We'd much rather have a native widget/gadget for Vista too.
