Angry NASCAR "Series" Still not fixed! NASCAR fans unite!

If this is pi$$ing you off too, pop over here:

http://www.icetv.com.au/iceforum/index.php?topic=966.0

and tell ICE you aren't happy as they seem to have ignored my plea's so far.

For those not aware, Basically ICE is making each race event specific so that we cant set a series record for either the "Nationwide Series" or the "Sprint Cup Series" (or both) - currently we have to watch the guide on a weekly basis and set each recording manually!

And restrictor-plate racing: 40 cars in a pack going flat out @ 199.6mph (because 200mph is just plain dangerous) for 200 laps just waiting to crash - dizzy stuff.

Sarcasm aside, I added my support (via my IceTV alias) on the IceTV Forum.

Re: NASCAR "Series" Still not fixed! NASCAR fans unite!

This is still not sorted guy's so get over there an tell ICE to fix it as it's getting worse not better!

The 1st attached image clearly shows that ICE now understand which series are which, but are still continuing to make them event based not series based like they should be.

http://www.icetv.com.au/iceforum/ind...66.0;attach=88

The 2nd attachment (Sams Town 300) has a description that is clearly not correct, it looks to me like it's from an olympic swimming show or something???

Re: NASCAR "Series" Still not fixed! NASCAR fans unite!

They've made it pretty clear that it's not going to happen at least in the short term. I think you're flogging a dead horse. From the comments I've read they simply don't have the personnel or money to deal with things that well. I'm reading that it's about as good as it's going to get for the moment. My feeling is that people should make decisions on subscription based on the knowledge that it will always be a fairly imperfect service.

It used to be much better than this, I've been an ICE subscriber since 2005 and im absolutely disgusted at the quality of service atm.

Well anybody will tell you that I'm no big fan of their service of late, especially them. The fact is that I have my suspicions about what is going on behind the scenes which I'd rather keep to myself for now. As I said, because of that I reckon you're banging your head against a brick wall trying to get this up.

Juicy! C'mon, give us a hint? They're going to sell out to HWW? Putting everything in to the court case? Folding?

I think ICETV are doing just fine comercially and once the NINE case gets kicked to the curb I think they will ramp back up and come out firing on all cylinders!

I got a pm or 2 this arvo from an ICE staff member and I must say that my attitude has swung back to being positive about ICE (he agreed with the points that I raised) - now all we need is for the outstanding issues to be solved!
