Error getting device list from ICETV Server

I have been having trouble with iceTV for about the past month.

It updates my guide ok but keeps throwing the following error when I try changing a setting.

Error getting device list from ICETV Server
Expected DTD markup was not found, Line 1, Position 1

I have found the following forum at icetv support and it seems that it could be a problem with aanet.

http://www.icetv.com.au/iceforum/index.php?topic=884.0

Im still waiting to hear back from icetv so thought I would post here to see if anyone has the same problem or could help.

iceTV had been woking great for months then all of a sudden this problem.

Same issue. They came up previously thinking that it was a TPG issue but that fell through when I piped up with AANET as my ISP.

Since then its been all quiet on the ICETV forum front even after asking the question of Daniel Hall through the official forums.

On other forum posts we get told to use the official channels (forum being the biggest one) and then when we do, they dont respond for days. Bugger

The forums are good and the guys try to keep up with them, but an email is probably better if you're after a definite answer.

Funny, both TPG and aaNet use transparent proxies.. I know TPG uses squid, i'd assume a cheapie provide like aaNet would use it too.
