PIMP Question.

Quick question about IceTV in Vista.

I currently have PIMP installed but do not use their web programming (disabled). The only thing that is enabled on it is the guide download time - set to 6PM so I get the latest update for any scheduling changes that evening.

Anyway, I'm thinking of removing PIMP but have two questions.

1. How do you install IceTV without PIMP in Vista? On their website the Vista installation ONLY deals with PIMP.

2. In MCE2005 there was an app called GuideTime thatlet you set the guide download time. Is there something similar that works with Vista?

Re: PIMP Question.

Hi GlenR,
Just give IceTV support a quick call, they are usually very helpful.
IMHO they have gone to one application - PIMP, which does it all.

Re: PIMP Question.

Go with Vlad. I hadn´t used the Vista guide for 2 months. Last week it installed a new version of pimp automatically and downloaded the guide without a hinch. Do not go and look foR trouble by uninstalling Pimp.
