IceTV Vista compatible

IceTV has declared itself Vista 32-compatible. I'll be updating tonight.

Re: IceTV Vista compatible

Working well so far.

I spoke to IceTV support - they advised they are aiming to further simplify the VMC setup by automatically aligning the scanned channels with the guide channels.

Re: IceTV Vista compatible

Yes it works well for me too except the soft pre and post padding modification doesn't seem to be working properly yet but this will be fixed with a new version according to a post in the IceTV forum.

Well yes that is their stated aim but then they are expecting forum users to provide the data for that. In fact that is not actually an enhancement more that they've decided to use the functionality which existed even in XPMCE. More power to them for correcting an error I guess.

On a automatic guide download, I'm still gettting the "Invalid Region or Country" Popup. Not every time, but at least once a week

Hey, you're in Melbourne - clearly an invalid region.

Re: IceTV Vista compatible

Test

Have you set up your device at the IceTV website in advance of installing PIMP?

I'm in Sydney and get the same thing so there goes Glen's theory , although haven't seen it for a few days - gotta love an intermittent problem like this although to be fair I'm running the version slightly before they announced they were Vista compatible.

Happy to live with this over the MCE2005 guide corruption issues!
