ICE TV Guide in Vista Premium

Has anyone had any success installing ICETV Guide on Vista premium? The ICETV guide website states that a workable version 'is coming soon'. Funny thing is that I seemed to have had a windows guide working fine up until a few days ago and now cannot access any australian tv data. Would be interested too see if anyone has had success in this area under vista premium.

cheers,
coolluke

Hi coolluke,
Yes a lot of people did.
Go to http://www.icetv.com.au/iceforum/index.php?topic=549.0
Get PIMP 2.02.00

Go to http://www.icetv.com.au/support.php?faq_id=86
Download IceGuide.
Install IceGuide
Install PIMP
Run re-scan of channels
Enjoy.

Re: ICE TV Guide in Vista Premium

Surprisingly i still use the KeepKey utility (found in the downloads area) and it works all fine.

No problems here.

Re: ICE TV Guide in Vista Premium

....start again..
Initially encountered the same problem when VISTA failed to load guide listings after saying that no listings extised for this country/regiion. Referred to ICE TV forum for details of similar problem and relied on advise which suggested that ICE TV install file be 'run as administrator'. Seemed to do the job as listings immediately loaded although I remain suspect whether I aam using ICE TV guide as the interface is very different to what I used on XP MCE. Not sure whether ICE interface has changed or whether I am using MC version. Irrespective, I seem to havve all the functionality that I used to.

cheers
