I'm starting to think that "Old and Stupid" describes me to a tee. When I start this project I thought that it would be as easy as connecting A to B,C to D etc. I have now realised that it aint that easy finding B and D amongst the mass of wires and motherboard connections. Unfortunately the guides and diagrams are not made for idiots
Anyway, after purchasing all the parts, I now realise that I going to have a problem connecting the HTPC to my Plasma as the plasma is a couple of years old and does not have HDMI connection. The motherboard is an Asus M3A78-EMH.
I have noticed in one of the threads that someone else has used a video card with component ouput.
Any suggestions (hopefully not tooo expensive), along with where I can obtain the parts would be greatly appreciated.
