Monitor

Hi, How d I use a 22" LCD monior as a display for a DVD player?

I have componet to VGA cable, but nothing shows on the monitor

A component to VGA cable won't help - that's just a physical cable. You need something to transcode the component signal to VGA.

This one from Jaycar should work, but you're going to have aspect problems because your monitor is 16:10 & the DVD player will expect 4:3 or 16:9.

And I note that one's max output rez is 1440x900, so won't look very good on a 22" which runs higher than that.

Well I got it, but i can't seem to get it to work. I can't seem to turn it on... connections are right. jsut no output.
