Projector time - any suggestions...

Hey everyone! Been a while since I been around. Really miss this place....

I will shortly be looking at a projector and know absolutely nothing about the buggers.

Any suggestions on what to look for, or what I need to consider in relation to this?

Cheers.

Re: Projector time - any suggestions...

It seems like the Epson Home Cinema 1080UB and Panasonic AE-2000U are two of the most popular 1080p bang-for-your-buck projectors at the moment. (these may have different model numbers here in oz though)

Try the link below as a start, just keep in mind that that's only ONE website and to keep your research varied. Any half-decent shop that's local to you should answer all of your questions and be happy to demo whatever material you'd like to see:

www.projectorcentral.com is a good source of info and reviews. remember with projectors that light control is EVERYTHING it makes or breaks the quality of the image you will get.

also I have purchased from www.pricejapan.com in the past with excellent prices.
