Bravia x-series hdmi auto on/off

I have noticed that my bravia 46x3100 has a feature to automatically detect hdmi to turn itself off and on (at least thats what I think it says)

Has anyone got this to work with a graphics card? And if so how?

Re: Bravia x-series hdmi auto on/off

Is that the Sony Control functionality? AFAIK, it's really for controlling other Sony devices through HDMI connectivity (i.e use the one remote)..... it's part of the spec of HDMI, but most manufacturers make it proprietary.
