Media Center
HDMI to HDMI

I have tried to connect my Sony X with the HDMI cable and it just won't work I have started the media centre with the Sony turned on and nothing at all no flicker nothing. I have another computer screen and when they are both connected the mce will not recognise the Sony at all. I have connected the MCE to the Sony via the VGA connection and that works but of course why stay with that when HDMI is there. Is there something I am missing? The Sony is turned on to HDMI. is there a windoh/menu that i am missing?
