Problems with Windows desktop display on Plasma

Hi all,
I have recently built a HTPC. I am not running Media Centre (yet), I am testing the system with XP Pro. I have connected it to my 50in LG Plasma via the RGB connector, and I have changed the options on the TV to RGB-PC. I am running dual monitors through my ATI X1950 PRO and I can get the windows desktop onto the Plasma, but you can't see anything else but the desktop background. No taskbar, icons or anything else. I'm sure I have missed something simple, but I can't find a way to fix it. I have tried different resolutions through the video card without luck. Any pointers would be appreciated.
Cheers
Shane

Re: Problems with Windows desktop display on Plasma

Sounds like severe oversan, perhaps.

If you change your resolution to 800x600, do you get to see anything?
