After HD DVD Drop, Toshiba Spends $835M to Back PS3?

Interesting read this article. Bit of "Give it up and we will give some back"

Re: After HD DVD Drop, Toshiba Spends $835M to Back PS3?

It's really great to see sanity prevail for a change. With Toshiba's MS alliance in support of the Xbox360 and Zune you can understand why they'd be willing to jump ship to PS3 and the cell. The 360 and Zune haven't been the best products on the market, popular maybe but as a consumer I'd rather have my gaming console working when I wanted to play it, not "at the shop" for repair, and it's not like there aren't a LOT better mp2 players around..

Cheers,

Arkay.
