First impressions: Netcomm NP285

I've just installed two NP285 ethernet over powergrid adapters, one off the router the other on the MythBuntu box driving the home entertainment system. Reason being that the wireless adapter in the mytbuntu box was being limited to 11mbps.

Fast enough to stream mpeg2 to the LCD display. Seems rock steady too.

Whilst it is early days it's shaping up as truly impressive. Good alternative to wireless or crawling around in ceilings.

Cheers
