I am probably not posting in the right area... so I apologise.
I had the following setup:
Dlink 320 Media Server using MS Media Player 11 software and all music on the pc.
What I wanted to do was add a NAS to store the music on but still use the MS Media Player 11 software.
I have moved all the music accross to the Thecus N299 NAS that we purchased and I can play the music fine on the pc but when I go to access it from the Dlink 320 the music shows up but just skips every song and wont play at all.
I did have it setup and working perfectly using the Thecus N299 media player that is built in but it does not have Genre support so that is why we want to continue using Windows Media Player.
I dont seem to be able to find any support anywhere. If someone is able to offer some advice it would be appreicated.
Are you talking about the Dlink 320 Media Lounge?.. If so, try TVersity Media Server. You can download it free from the net, and the music does come up under Genre.
