Wireless N Help with wireless broadband

Hi Guys,

I need to install a wireless N solution to use one of the new linksys DMA2100 extenders in my house.

I live on a farm and could not get adsl through the phone line, so I had to get wireless broadband hooked up to the house.

This runs out of the wall with a Cat5 cable and connects using PPPoE connection/log in so no modem is required.

How can I distribute this signal wirelessly in the best way? A router, access point or something else? Will every pc/mac have to connect the PPPoE connection?

I tried the above with cables and succeeded.

Thanks guys

Re: Wireless N Help with wireless broadband

Thought I would test this out with a wireless G router/modem I have, Dlink DSL-G604T.

I plugged in the ethernet cable from the wall which carries the wireless broadband signal directly, but no luck in connecting via the wireless network....

I can connect via a standard ethernet switch though, with all the pc's plugged into it. You just need to connect the PPPoE thing and all works. So I somehow need to get this going over wireless!!!

Any ideas?

Re: Wireless N Help with wireless broadband

Well I do have a few mac's but didn't even really think of buying one, just still not sure if it can distribute the wireless adsl signal since it failed with the dlink. Although that was a wireless modem router.
