Power Saving Networks

Gday guys.

I have a home network setup connecting my rumpus, study and gym. Eventually i would like it setup so that i can access files from each and have them all in s3 state. Is it possible for them to stay in s3 and only wakeup when one of them goes to access a file stored on it and then it wakes up.

I had it setup to do the above, only problem was that i would continually find the computers waking each other up when i wasn't around. Continuosly coming home to the study computer on.

Can this be achieved or should i let them all sleep uninterrupted and just physically go in the room and wake them up myself when i need to access files from each?
