Unhappy help me pleaseeeeeeeee

hello

i have windows vista ultimate when i download setup of internet

i can not find the name of conect and i cannot connect to internet

but when i download the setup of internet in windows xp by the same way of win vista

i find the name of internet and i can connect

please help me if the way of setup is different from win xp or any thing wrong

p.s: i have the ADSL connect and out modem

I dont really get what you mean by when you download the setup of the internet
you have not got the internet up and running so you cant download anything

Do you have wireless? is this what you mean you cant see your connection when u search wireless connection?

If you have either wireless or ethernet do you have the correct drivers installed?

is your modem a router?
does it automaticly connect to the internet? and then give your computer an IP address via DHCP?

is it running via USB or Ethernet?

Hope this gets you on the right track abit
if anything vista is easier to get a connection up and running.

i have usb adsl modem ale70 and i have adisk for it to setup it in my computer

so i can not install it in my computer that when i install it i must find aconnection called
GlobeSpan Dial-Up PPP Connection but i dont

please help me

Something i dugg up
its abit hard to follow but might help


FIRST INSTALL A FRESH INSTALL OF VISTA WITHOUT ANY DRIVER , PLUG USB CABLE FROM GlobeSpan Usb ADSL LAN Modem TO YOUR PC. IF DETECT ANY NEW HARDWARE CANCEL IT.
THEN RUN SETUP.EXE FROM INSTALLATION DIRECTORY
POPUP A WINDOW ABOUT INSTALL GlobeSpan Usb ADSL LAN Modem ACCEPT IT AN GO AHEAD
DO SETTING FOR YOUR PROVIDER AS XP WINDOW
THEN WINDOWS DETECT YOUR ADSL MODEM AND BEGIN TO INSTALL DRIVER FOR YOURS MODEM AUTOMATICALLY AFTER DETECT YOUR MODEM AND PROMPT INSTALLED YOUR HARDWARE ...OPEN TASKMANAGER (CTRL+ALT+DEL) THEN KILL THE PROCESS ABOUT INSTALL GlobeSpan Usb ADSL LAN Modem !!!!! THATS RIGHT KILL THE PROCESS...
NOW YOUR MODEM READY TO USE AS WELL AS XP
CREATE A BANDWIDTH CONNECTION AND......
ENJOY IT
