Question Collecting Unwanted Audio Files From Network

How can I stop Media Centre / Media Player from adding audio files from other computers on my network. I have unticked "Add All Played Media To Library" and I thought that would fix it!!! When my son plays around with his audio files they all end up on Media Centre , which really ........ ticks me off.

I guess it has something to do with file sharing. I was able to set up the network ok, but this is beyond my expertise.

Help Please
