The 360 network adapter at fair price?

Hi everyone

I want to try out the 360 network adapter but I can't seem to find it at a "good" price. It appears to still be at $169 starting price from March last year.

Anyone know of any deals that may be out there?

I had pure luck buying mine from WOW i got it for $99 it was the only one left (mind you i also bought an ipod at the same time).

As a general idea i thought i would post up exactly the details that are posted on my wholesalers site. By the looks of it it will stay that price for quite a while, accessories dont seem to drop in price, id say there may be a 360 package that will include one in it too.

I noticed on play asia you can buy the HD DVD player, someone from Australia purchased it and left good comment. I wonder if its region free????

Just called my wholesaler (AID) they told me that yes indeed the Xbox 360 HDDVD addon is region free. US, JAP, ETC versions of the 360 HDDVD addon will work with the Australian 360 too.

The unit is multi voltage, all you need is a plug adapter for a US one to work in Australia

I was going to put mine on eBay tomorrow.
It is as new - bought from Harvey 2 months ago so probably still under warranty.
You can have it for $100 - postage to Melb included.
I have wired connection so dont need it anymore.

Do you know if the network adaptor from Play Asia works correctly on the Aussie Xbox 360?

Is it the same adaptor everywhere in the world?
