I've noticed that with my machine sometimes too. I have no idea how wndows works out when the 1 min has elapsed.. Perhaps it's a bit like status bars in windows... 100% complete then sits there for another 30 seconds

As long as the screensaver is starting eventually the Hibernator will take over and put the machine to sleep if need be
