Re: "The Hibernator" Support and Feedback

looks good. I have a box that does not wake from Standby, but does wake from Hibernate. I have not tried Hibernate out much. Does Hibernate allow the machine to wake for a programmed recording? or does it stay sleeping right through?

John

Re: "The Hibernator" Support and Feedback

It should wake from Hibernate and record just the same as it would from Standby.

Cheers,
Arkay.

Re: "The Hibernator" Support and Feedback

HEY HEY KIDS

How about each one of you that is finding Arkay's Crunchie (not to mention the new Hibernator) to be one kick ass prog, reach into those very shallow pockets of yours and cough up a Mc Happy meal worth of $$$ to this dedicated MCE champ.

C'mon, you all know the F#### deserves it !

Be nice, SPEND and help build the ArkSoft Empire !

[Disclaimer: 90% of all donations to arkSoft will be forwarded to the mrees fund for a much needed 4th MCE]

Now thats enough ass munching for today, Im going to get smashed and watch my recently downloaded NHL games GO CANUCKS !!

Thought for the day: MCE would suck without some of these funky add-ins. Imagine a MCE with no GUIDE! The horror of it all

Indeed that is true. Also true is actually how few additional addins that one needs to have a perfectly usable system. Unfortunately, the only thing that one can't purchase is the thing that is most required, and that is patience.

Re: "The Hibernator" Support and Feedback

Hi Arkay,

Congratulations with the "Newborn".

Tried it out on my 2nd rig. Put my machine nice into hibernation in the set time limit but my rig comes out of hibernation immediately.
I had this problem ever since I purchased it, for me not a big deal because I do not make any recordings with it.
There must be a setting in the bios wrong. I will send you the bios settings tomorrow if I can. Maybe you will be able to detect something wrong. Or maybe my mobo switches are not set to suspend. Cannot go there without jeopardising the warranty.

Re: "The Hibernator" Support and Feedback

Unfortunately I can't control what it does when it thinks it's time to wake up, that's bios level MB stuff. It might be set to wake on lan and is waking at the slightest hint of network activity. Let me know the bios settings and we'll see what can be worked out.

Cheers,
Arkay.
