fatal out of memory error

Hi,

I've followed the Bladerunner/FreeXMLTV installation instructions, and it gets to the point where it's transforming guide data, but I get a "Fatal out of memory error."

Any ideas?

Re: fatal out of memory error

It's an AMD Sempron 2800+ (1.6GHz) with 512MB of RAM, Geforce FX 5200 Compro Videomate card, etc. I could install another 512MB and see if that helps, but I wouldn't have thought that would be the issue.

Have stuck another 512MB of RAM in (for a total of 1024) and i'm still getting the same issue.

Re: fatal out of memory error

Hello again.
have you read this thread?. It may help you.
http://www.xpmediacentre.com.au/comm...ht=error+codes

I had a simuliar problem a while back.
I think my problem was that my bios detected my ram incorectly.Which caused my system to have memory issues.
I had to manually set my ram as ddr400.
I can only go on my experiances, so I may be totally off track.
I am sure that someone on this site will come up with the sollution for you .

Regards Blackjet

Re: fatal out of memory error

My bios doesn't allow me to specift ddr400.

However, i've just worked out that this is a Bladerunner issue, not an FreeXMLTv issue.
