freexmltv epg update problem - please help

YES ... I am a newbie.

i am using the new version of freexmltv and i am having a d/l & update problem. the last time i ran the app (because do i not have permanent connection) was tuesday after d/ling and setting up the guide listings.

when the application is downloading it all seems ok and i get no error messages. but when i go to the guide i only have the information that i had before the download. ie only till tuesday next week which is when i set it up.

is there a step that i am missing to update the guide or should it update automatically when the application runs?

if you use the option to d/l latest guide listings from inside mce is this done thru mce or thru freexmltv?

please help. any feedback welcomed.

you need freexml/bladerunner to do its thing, then you need XP MCE to do it's thing. This usually happens once a day, but you can force it. But saying "update guide settings".

therefore:
1: Run Freexml
2: update MCE by saying, get latest guide settings.

Then you will have an up to date guide.
