nein have been obfuscating (encrypting) the TV guide data to make it hard to scrape because they don't want us to have EPGs and be in control of when and what we watch.
About every 5 days or so recently nein have been changing the guide source web format.
The Australian team on the WebScheduler forum have been responding to these changes quite quickly and getting modified grabbers out with multiple versions each day.
jrobbo is one of the team providing a service to the community by collating the guide information using the grabber/scraper into a freely available XML file. Unfortunately jrobbo went over his peak DL limit last month and was unable to do the full range of location files for the last few days of June due to ISP throttling.
Over this weekend the data should be available once again.
Moves are afoot to collect the guide info from some alternate sources as well.
I use a direct grabber and jrobbo for my guide data.
when jrobbo has his data available it is of a high quality.
Cheers
Neil
