FreeXMLTV doesn't stop

Hi,

Have BRP V3 and FreeXMLTV V4.9 installed (followed all instructions) and when I run the EPG.bat it doesn't stop. Until I end the task it went all the way up to 2007. The files are all the same size (59Kb)

All was fine last week. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Wavey

I have to kill the process to stop it.

It was working fine a few days ago with v. 4.9.

Any ideas? It's as if it cannot find the guide on ninemsn or something.

Re: FreeXMLTV doesn't stop

To my horror, i recieved an email from Big Pond telling me that i was close to 10 gig midway through the month. Sure enough i had a look at my usage and over a 24hr priod i had downloaded almost 4gig while i was ata work and asleep, then i found 3.8 gig in my data file.

As posted in this 20 page thread: Problem with Freexmltv - no guide data - new version

At the moment, it's "no" but Impact is working on it.

Please people, set your Scheduled Task to "disable" for now, clear out the data directory and wait for posts on Thursday for a solution. Or try out EPG Runner it seems...

Edit: Beaten

...Or just another thought as per Eaglehawk, if you don't want to disable your Scheduled Task, at least go into the settings tab in the Scheduled Task and set it to automatically stop after an hour or so. I think the default is normally about 72 hours.

Slaya
