When new versions become available...

Is it possible that new versions are released just as zip files so you can just overwrite the old files? I ask because the guide recently stopped working and now it appears the workaround is to uninstall bladerunner pro 3, delete all files, install blade runner pro 3, install freexmltv 4.0, overwrite with freexmltv 4.9, then go through the whole process of tuning in MCE etc. Seems a bit over the top to do this whenever ninemsn changes their code?

Of course I realise this is free and I don't want to sound ungrateful but it seems like something that could easily be avoided.

Cheers

Mark, When you use a pog like Winzip it should overwrite the old file but like in case of freexmltv 4.0 and the new 4.9 it doesn't.
With the new 4.9 frexxmltv you do not have to tune in your MCE. All I needed to do was edit my channelorder again. Took me 30 seconds.

Heads Up!! be careful when you delete the freexmltv file make sure you also delete the file from the recycle bin as windows tends to just reverse the deletion if it senses the same file is being copied into the same dir.

it happened to me thats why I know.
