New FreeXMLTV - Lost all channels

I downloaded the latest FreeXMLTV. For some reason, when I perform setup part B of BRP, windows insists that I scan for channels. It constantly fails to find anything. If I rollback to the old FreeXMLTV, I am able to scan for TV channels again.

Can FreeXMLTV affect channel scanning??? What do I have to configure to make it work again???

Re: New FreeXMLTV - Lost all channels

This is not a problem specific to any grabber....it is the (silly) way that MCE works.

A solution is posted at the link below.
