Hi Impact,

Will there be an updated file for version Freexmltv 2.0?

Talking Re: Problem with Freexmltv - no guide data - new version

Good to hear, Impact. I'm sold on FreeXMLTV since the version 4.0 GUI... it's absolutely idiot proof now.

I will check the kitchen sink to see if the dishes are done after I install v5.0. Nothing would surprise me!

Thanks for a great program.

Re: Problem with Freexmltv - no guide data - new version

I have called it v4.9 - just in case there is a problem.... and I can save v5 for another day...

I have not integrated it into the gui installer as yet so...

If you have been running freexmltv 3.1 or later - take this zip file, and just unzip and overwrite the exisiting freexmltv.exe file found (most likely) in your c:\windows\ehome\BladerunnerPro\GuideData directory.

If you have an earlier version - then install the previous version through the GUI -> v4.1 found in the forums here, and then replace the installed version of freexmltv.exe with the one contained in the attached zip file.

- If you have probs, 2 things - delete the subdirectory 'data' so that it refreshes everything.... it will take much longer on the first run - but worth it....
- and dont forget to set your time settings to English (Australia) through the control panel....

If no major problems are found, will integrate it into the GUI in the next day or so and call that version 5 !

Impact (never let you guys down despite what some say..... )

Re: Problem with Freexmltv - no guide data - new version

Impact, you are indeed a lengend. I have an EPG again!

Dropped the freexmltv.exe in and it ran sweet as a nut.

Many thanks.
