Currently all "7 HD Digital" and "TEN HD" HD channel listings are just duplicates of their corresponding SD channels. Due to an avalanche of feedback from users, the ozTiVo.org 'SevenHD' and 'TenHD' channels will replace these existing 'HD' channels and be integrated into the current Free-To-Air Digital (ozTiVo.org Guide) guide listing tonight.

Users will notice their "7 HD Digital" and "TEN HD" guide listings replaced with less data (Yes less!), but a more accurate representation of the HD channel content. If users with to revert back to the previous "HD is a copy of the SD listing" scenario, then simply assign the "7 HD Digital (SD)" and "TEN HD (SD)" guide listings back to your HD channels.

Warning! Due to the channel line-up change, users may have to re-assign their channel guide listings!

HI,

This morning, my 7hd and 10hd data is empty. I opened a new post before I noticed your post

Thanks epgStream,
A great solution. The only trouble is I am getting question marks though for all of sevenhd and some of tenHD. Is this because the list is yet to be updated?
thanks,
Anthony

Anthony,

I think that is why they said this, I have the questions marks too and it does it when there is no HD broadcast I believe.

Re: ozTiVo 'SevenHD' and 'TenHD' channels now available!

Hi Mattylees,
Yeah I was just starting to figure that out. It's a shame they can just subsititute the free epg version in here. Ideally a hybrid listing would be best where you get all the duplicate listings except for when there is a difference. A round about way to do this would be to use one of the alternate channel frequencies to set up a third listing.
cheers,
Anthony

Re: ozTiVo 'SevenHD' and 'TenHD' channels now available!

Hi,

I had that problem too, If you want to have complete channel listings for Seven and 10 HD, you need to use the Free EPG Guide from EPG Stream, Not the Oztivo guide. The Oztivo guide only shows the different (HD) programing on 7HD and 10HD.
For a complete list (minus the HD changes) use the 7HD (SD) and 10HD (SD) Guide choices when you add the listings to the channels from the setup.

Hey!

Yeah, ozTiVo.org only provides the 'unique' HD programming ... If you want the merged SD/HD listing then I'd go for the Free*EPG feed instead.

Refer to this link: ozTiVo 'SevenHD' and 'TenHD' channels now available!

Thanks,
Cheers,
Kurt.

Re: ozTiVo 'SevenHD' and 'TenHD' channels now available!

So correct me if I am wrong as its a little confusing...

If i go back with the free*epg guide again (instead of oztivo) it will not only show the different shows running between SD + HD but will fill the gaps with the question marks with what is actually on the SD channel? Hard to explain but you get my drift!

As I thought I had to go to oztivo to get the individual HD + SD data.

Hi,

I havent tried it. Im going to live with the ? for now. one day Oztivo might fill it in. Im not going to try it becuase Free EPG from EPG Stream says it only has listings for Sydney and Melb. I'm on the gold coast so I would be missing guide data for some channels, not to mention we dont have daylight savings.

Hi,

The Free-To-Air Digital (epgStream.net Free*EPG) guide listing will give you the merged 7 & 10 SD/HD guides!

Thanks,
