ABC2 Brisbane out by 1 hour

Just to let you know that the program info for ABC2 seems to be out by an hour here in Brisbane. A daylight saving issue?

Thanks guys!

Re: ABC2 Brisbane out by 1 hour

Hi!

Not really a daylight savings issue ... more a configuration issue and part of this previous problem: http://www.xpmediacentre.com.au/comm...ns-i-hope.html

We'll re-configure ABC2 for Queensland tonight and it should reset by early tomorrow morning. Sorry this seems to be dragging out so long!

Thanks,

Thank you for your quick response.
I have updated the guide for Brisbane and now all channels but Ch10 display "no guide data available"

Hi,

Go into setting, TV and Guide, then add guide listing to the channels again. Becuase of the changes you need to tell Media Center what guide data is for what channels.

Kurt.

Red face Re: ABC2 Brisbane out by 1 hour

Good thinking kurtlane!

Now the guide works again, but my wife is beating me up because all of the "Record Series" scheduled recording won't work any more.
Basically what happens is that MCE can't find the show to record in the guide, as soon as you play with the channels in the guide - even though the channel numbers stay the same.
You have to change the channel to "Any channel" in the advanced series recording settings, let MCE find find the show, and then change it back to the original channel.

Is there are quicker way to do this?

Thanks.

Steve

Re: ABC2 Brisbane out by 1 hour

Hi,

I dont know of a quicker way to do that. Becuase of the added 10HD and 10HD (SD) its thrown out the guide allocation to the channels. Unfortunatly, I'm thinking you will have to set the series records again as the shows come along, just like you would if you had to re-install windows from scratch. (Me doing that today )

Before you do that, are you using the Oztivo listings and Free Epg Stream. Try chaning to EPG stream's Free Guide instaead of Oztivo. They have complete Channel 10 and Seven HD listings.

Kurtlane,

Do you notice many "?" listings in your Free*EPG feed? I'm specificlaly talking about "?" for shows within the next day or two.

I've been considering changing to the Free*EPG feed, but when testing it on a second machine, there was missing shows 2 days away. I found this odd given that this feed was supposed to be a combination of oztivo and free*epg but my proper oztivo guide had all the shows listed well in advance of the free*epg feed.

Cheers,
imf

Re: ABC2 Brisbane out by 1 hour

Hi,

I just did a quick check of 10HD, to see how far into the future the guide goes and how many ? listings. There are about 10-15 ? in 183 program listings, as the days progress they get more frequent. The guide goes all the way up to Saturday the 12th jan, thats 10 days worth of listings. Im happy with that, As the guide gets closer to the ?, it may fill itself in with an update.

Hi!

You'll find that the base ozTiVo.net data feed typically only runs only up until this Saturday, 5th Janurary. Free*EPG data feed should also give you till Saturday plus an additional 7 days of unverified data.

ozTiVo.net has their next data update on Friday night, which you won't see made available until Saturday morning (in our ozTiVo and Free*EPG feeds).

Thanks,
