FreeEPG Problem with "Foxtel Digital Platinum" feed

Hi Guys.. My guide data stopped working so i re-set it up
Now i am getting

Guide Server Error:
File Validation Error - mismatched guide package. code 21

The Foxtel digital get started guide works, but not the platinum.

just clean installed vista.. still the same problem
anyone else having issues with freepg and foxtel feeds?

Hi Guys,

Sorry about that ... We just didn't get around to checking this forum yesterday! There was a problem with our FOXTEL guide update last night, but it should be reset automatically at 4am (so try again in the morning).

Hey there, I am getting the same problem on my MCE2005 box, get an error code 20 with the mismatched guide package message. works with the basic package, but not the Foxtel digial or cable platinum packages.

Hi all,

Still getting this issue today. I'm using cable.oztivo.foxtel.nsw.au and it was working perfectly until a few days ago.

Now keep getting:

Event Info: File validation error - mismatched guide package. The Guide listings service is not currently available. Please try again later.
Process: DefaultDomain
Object Name: Microsoft.Ehome.Epg.EhepgdatSingleton

Machine is running vista and no recent Windows updates aside from a couple of Windows Defender definitions.

I'm having exactly the same issue and messages.

Any news of a fix? Vista has kindly wiped my Guide!

Hey Guys,

Something strange is happening over the Christmas break ... Our traffic to and from our service is being disconnected, which is in effect interrupting our guide generation and delivery process. Way too many people downloading torrents over the break and not enough people donating for a better epgStream.net hosting plan!

We'll reset the guide generation for you now and watch it to make sure everything updates, but we'll do it in this provider order: AUSTAR, FOXTEL and then OptusTV. Give us about 20 minutes per provider then download your guides again and let us know!

Hey Guys!

Transfer rates today are terrible so it may take a bit longer!

All AUSTAR and some FOXTEL (NSW & Vic only) have completed at this point in time so you can download those now! Everyone else will have to wait until a little bit later, otherwise we'll let you know when all states and OptusTV have completed!
