2 quick questions, I hope.

Hi,

Im using EPG stream and the Oztivo listings for Gold Coast my post code is 4217.

I get a one hour error in my guide becuase of daylight savings, the channel Southern Cross ten, Prime and NBN are out by one hour. I notice it each year.

My other question is, my guide data is not showing different programs for 10HD and Seven HD, but there are differences in the programs when i switch between channels 7 and 70. And 10 and 1 has a SCI-Fi lineup on thursday night thats not reflected in my guide yet.

Thank you in advance.
Kurt

Re: 2 quick questions, I hope.

Hi,

We've just adjusted the ozTiVo QLD DST offset for those channels. Check out your guide tomorrow morning after the overnight updates and let us know it it's correct and we'll close this thread.

As far as the HD listings for ozTiVo, check out this post: Should epgStream implement Oztivo 'multichannel' only listings for SevenHD and TenHD?

Thanks,

Re: 2 quick questions, I hope.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, I updated my guide this morning, but its still saying for example,
PRIME 5am-8am SUNRISE
SEVEN 6am-9am SUNRISE

There is a one hour error. Sunrise is on 6-9 on both channels as we dont have daylight savings.

Best Regards,

Re: 2 quick questions, I hope.

Hi,

Did you try performing a manual guide download (just to make sure you have the latest guide listing)?

Thanks,

Re: 2 quick questions, I hope.

Yes I did it manually through the settings menu and TV and guide in Vista. It said they were download sucessfully.

I also just did a setup again, and re-scanned for channels. There is still a one hour difference between Prime and seven, Nine and NBN etc. When their should be no difference.

CHeers.

Hi!

Thanks for that ... We found the problem and have corrected it, just an issue with our QLD DST configuration. Have a look after 1am and let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Re: 2 quick questions, I hope.

Yes, thank you, Its Fixed. The guide is showing the correct times for most channels.
And for the other question, Im looking foward to when The Ozitivo guide has the updated programming for seven and 10 after the christmas/new year period, Thank you Epg Stream.

Last edited by kurtlane; 28th December 2007 at 05:38 PM. Reason: edited it becuase there are still some channels not chowing correct EPG times.

Re: 2 quick questions, I hope.

NBN, Prime and SC10 are Fixed. The guide is showing the incorrect times for ABC2 and SC 10 HD. Its one hour out like the others were. The problem with SC 10 HD is that its mostly just a looping HD video of australian scenery, there is some programs, I have no idea what the go with that channel is, the guide data dosent match up most of the time becuase its mostly just the same footage over and over again.

I also get Prime HD and NBN HD, is there a chance the guide data can be added for those channels. Prime HD is proably(maybe) the same data as Seven HD and NBN HD is mostly likly the same as Nine HD
