Ac couple of weeks ago I have started to use NOD32 Antivirus on my second machine, which I mainly use to surf the net and try out new things.
This antivirus pog was highly recommended by all of the PC magazines (which I do not trust) and came with one of those free dvd's you obtain with one of those mags.
I must say that it works really well. Runs smoothly in the background, even with a second antivirus pog installed beside it.
Anyone else positive feedback (or negative) with this pog.
myself being an authorised reseller of nod32 here in australia i can only have positive things to say about it and its not because i sell it as i was using it long before that.
its extremely light weight, doesnt hog system resources, extremely fast scanning rate, doesnt slow the machine down... you get the picture the list goes on and on.
it gets countless of awards every month, check out virusbtn and a few other sites, also there was a review done not long ago at http://www.pro-networks.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=61383 that you may want to have a read of.

When I use the Ebay plug inn on my MCE machine, still running on the MCaffee AV, not for long anymore, I have to switch off the scripting feature in the av to let Ebay work. This is due to Ebay running a PHP.exe file that is recognised as a threat by Mcaffee. How would that work with NOD32?
I'll second Monsters positive review. I've been using it and recommending it for a while and have nothing but praise for it.
Compared to the likes of the Macafe and Symantec bloatware it's amazing. Compared to the others that do a good job... it's pretty much top of the league.
My MCE came with the free AVG installed... but every other machine I own or manage gets a NOD32 licence (and I suspect my MCE one will join the fold before long just for consistancy !)
