VLC re-encoding question

Hi all

I'm trying to re-encode some video that I have in ".bin" format, so that I can watch it on my VMC. I can watch it in VLC, and now I'm trying to figure out the best transcode parameters for the container and video/audio streams. Everything I have tried results in (when viewed in media player) audio but no video. The FFDShow audio system tray icon appears, but not the video one. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Re: VLC re-encoding question

If the its a vcd .iso (from channel BT) you install isobuster you can extract the streams directly to an mpg without any transcoding.
