OK, here we go again. We are back in the season of cocked up channel 10 recordings courtesy of Big Brother.
Take a tip now guys, if you have any series set to record on 10 after about 7pm, set the program afterward to record as well, cos you aint gonna get to see the end of anything.
Anyone know how to set a 1 hour pad on 1 channel in Vista?
Exscuse my frustrated eagerness in my last post - before everyone tells me how to suck eggs, I know you can set a series/program to end x minutes late, but guess who forgot BB was on and assumed 15 mins would be enough.
On the subject of Big Brother (and believe me, i feel exactly how Mike's drawing looks when it comes to Big Brother), I heard something about them launching another digital channel, dedicated to BB. I remember 7 doing something similar for the Aus Open Tennis, but it was only allowed to contain scoreboard info, no "real" TV footage IIRC?
I wonder if Ten have managed to get around that somehow. Come to think of it, i've seen 71,72,73 in my list of available channels, but don't recall seeing anything similar for Channels 9 & 10. Anyone know what they are?
And this 'crppy' show has apparantly received the lowest ratings in its 7 year history... Yep I didn't intentionally record it, but of course got a ffwd glimpse for the program afterwards...
Ye of little faith - and now you wonder why I run the main MCE machine with 6 tuners... so all series recordings on ch10 can extend by an hour or more... Gotta love overalapping recordings....
So thanks Big Broither - your one of the main reasons I need up to 4 tuners to record just ch10....

I think impact has it right, more tuners, more overlap. My 5 over 2 MCEs give me the same sort of flexibility.
I suspect we are all thinking about this wrong though. BB is not a 10 rating leader, they are actually getting most of their revenue through sponsorship from M$ and tuner manufacturuers!
Gotta love your MCE

I think that you have to introduced properly to torrents. PM me and you will not need 6 tuners.

Crap!!! Who are you with? I am currently with Optus Cable (10mbit) on their "unlimited" (yeah total BS, 20GB peak/40GB offpeak) plan but wouldn't mind something with a bit more "unlimited" download. Don't really want a speed drop though. 8mbit would be ok, but 1.5Mbit is just unacceptable :P
