Well i had just finished off at work today and thought i would go for a wonder around the myer centre in my town, while in there i thought i would duck into target quickly to see if they had any good sales on. Well i went into the Home Entertainment department and was wondering around and saw the Ipod Cabinet there, and what did i see inside??? The Ipod to Tv cables for $4.90!!!!!! i thought this had to have been a mistake and asked someone to get them out of the cabinet for me before they wised up. lol. At closer inspection they were not official Apple brand cable, the apple brand ones were believe it or not $145

I thought stuff it if they are no good ive only lost $5.00.
I get the cable home take it from the package, plug one end into the headphone jack on the ipod video then plug the composite cables into the TV. I press play on the ipod on a video podcast i watch and to my disappointment i only get sound, i then realise i have to set the ipod for Tv output, i did that then bang, worked perfectly on the Tv.
The only downfall of the cable is that it is composite and not component, but for 4.90 i cant complain, it still looks reasonably good, i really thought the picture may look very pixelated or out of shape, nope, looks absolutely fine. The sound is great too.
Other downfall is having to convert movies to H.264 but i converted a copy of NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, 300 & a few episodes of Entourage, the movies took about 20 mins and episodes took 6 mins. Not much hassle at all for the convenience to watch them in bed or on the TV or spare TV in the bedroom
If you happen to see these for this price definately grab them, they are great.
