I think the Silverstone LC16M looks great as it fits in so well with other hi-fi gear with it's VFD and buttons on the front, it stays cool and quiet too. Of course I'm biased as that's what I bought

More pictures and details will be added eventually.
Can you let me know something when you pull it apart? The LC20M is the same but with the VFD. I ordered the LC20 but they shipped me the LC20M by mistake. Since I didn't want the VFD, I removed it and modified the M$ receiver to fit in the case where the VFD went. Much neater and it works a traet.
Anyway, just wondering if I could have done the same thing with the LC20. That is, is there a cut-out behind the plastic between the LEDs and the Power Button? (You'll see what I mean.) If you could let me know it would be great. Just curious is all.
I've now got an LC20 (in part to your great review - thanks). Started work on the new MCE it last night and installed the MS remote receiver (very poor pictures attached). In short - yes the window is there, it comes with 4 brass posts and a piece of black rubber over the window.
As you can see I've removed the MS receiver guts completely and its mounted to the chasis with teflon screws to avoid any insulation issues. The receivers and LED have been bent back so that they face the window (black rubber now removed). I've left the standard USB cable attached (as I can't see the point in recabling), and shoved the bulk of it into the 3.5" fdd bay which will not be used. I will then use the standard external USB connection on the back of the mother board.
