File Name: BladerRunner Pro v3.5 (253.2 KB) Download
Author: monster (Uploaded by monster)
Date Added: 21st June 2006
Downloads: 28599
Grade: A-
Description
New Features
  • Installer re written from the ground up, dead simple to use.
  • MCE more programs addin/mcl trigger, run BRP directly within MCE!
  • Auto create channelinfo.xml, no more messing with channelinfo files is required, irrespective of the grabber used.
  • Automatically create duplicate data for HD channels
  • Flags programs with a "HD logo" (logo in guide), based on a text file of known HD shows. This function lets you see what shows are broadcast as true HD while still seeing the upscaled SD content in the guide for the HD channels! The best of both worlds!
  • When run from scheduled tasks or more programs BRPv3.5 will trigger MCE to get the guide data. A manual "get latest guide listings" is no longer necessary!!
Bug fixes -
  • Fix red dot issue for multi regions
  • General fixes and house keeping
This will allow the process of changing over to a new grabber (such as oztivo), far less painful.

Installer put the reference to BladeRunner.lnk as BladeRunner/./BladeRunner.lnk in the registry. I've fixed it, but still getting a file not found error with that link. Going to restart to see if that fixes it.

The BRP 3.5 install program fails each time i try to run it. Message I get is that it can't open the various files it is trying to copy into the BRP directory (changer, configurator, etc).

What am i doing wrong?

Magic! Absolute magic! Well done Monster!

NZ users would be well advised to look at this info, which closes the loop on getting EPG data into MCE via BladeRunner and xmlTVNZ from Reven:

Hi
further to a problem in getting the TV program guide of my media center , HP customer care advised me to download BladeRunnerPro from your site. That's what I did but I cannot open the software since it requires The Microsoft.Net Framework v2. Apparently this (file/software ?) is missing on my PC. Can someone kindly help me solving the issue ?

Many thanks in advance
