No Audio on converted files

Hi All,
I just installed crunchie along with the toolbox and xvid etc but all of the converted files have no audio when I play them back.
I have tried to play them in both MCE and Media Player but still no joy.
I am running the sound from my PC out to my Amp via SPDIF
When I check the properties of the video file in media player it has noting in the audio section.

Any help much appreciated.
Enaran

Re: No Audio on converted files

Enaran,

I assume you're running MCE 2005 with RU2. If this is the case the introduction of AC3 audio introduced a problem whereby DVRMSToolbox converts Australian DVR-MS files without Audio. The resulting avi file therefore also has no audio.

Until a fix is found you will need to use MCE2005 without RU2 if you need to Crunch your files.

Cheers,
Arkay.
