Crunchie.ini

Hi Arkay,

Perhaps crunchie can already do this ? I would like to run crunchie with different ini files. So that in the first instance, it compresses the kids (watch once ) files with a bitrate of say 1500, then process all the Law and Order with a higher bit rate ... and so on ... I mean it is possible to set up a batch file that copies the different ini files over but would be easier to use a different INI file.

Thanks

Re: Crunchie.ini

Danny,

Sure could.

All you need to do is run the configurator and set it up the way you like it for your shows, copy the .ini file to "myshows.ini", then do it again for the kids and save it as kids.ini.

Then write a batchscript that does this:.

1. copy myshows.ini to crunchie.ini and run crunchie.
2. copy kids.ini to crunchie.ini and run crunchie.

Then set your scheduled task to run the batch script instead of crunchie...

Should work a treat

Let me know if you need some help to write it.

Cheers,
Arkay.
